Jokes aside, I felt like some things dragged on when I watched the show, but I can't remember if I was watching weekly, which could explain why. Rewatching it, those things are over much quicker and I have enjoyed the show a lot. Would be interesting to hear what you think of it as a sequal.

2023-07-13 07:44:40 +0000 UTCFrom what people generally say (and how I personally feel about the show too) Season 1 I'd give a 7/10, very good but has a few annoyances that hold it back Season 2 I'd give a 5/10. And really that's unfair because I think 2 of the episodes are 9/10 and the early parts of the season are more like a 3/10. They really messed up here in some serious ways, but there are some saving graces. It's still quite enjoyable. Season 3 is easily up there with some of the heights of ATLA. 9/10, I'd say only the best episodes of Avatar best it. Season 4 is also very very good, particularly in some of the cuts of animation. I'd give it an 8/10, not quite as captivating to me as season 3. And I think most fans seems to be sort of on this wavelength of thought. There are some that despise it, and I can't deny that some of those reasons are well thought out and perfectly valid. But some let those issues get in the way of enjoyment because they just wanna hate it for not being the same thing as Avatar.
