2023-09-17 17:17:27 +0000 UTCThe fight between Zuko and Azula is incredibly tragic. Not only are the kids but they are siblings who have been raised to hate one another. To pin their fears, angers, disappointments etc on each other. It’s heartbreaking.

It's also depressing af because here are two teenagers who have been manipulated against one another most of their lives. As someone said above, you can see how the time Zuko has spent with team avatar has made an impression on his bending techniques. The support he's gained is reflected in his bending whereas Azula is slipping. Not only is she falling apart but this final fight is the ultimate manifestation of their dysfunctional family dynamic as their family falls apart.

2023-06-25 16:28:16 +0000 UTCIf you watch Zuko's movements during the Final Agni Kai, you can clearly see him using all the bending styles to fight. For example, spliting the fire in two like a wave of water, the way he grounded himself like an Earthbender, the way he leaps brings the fire down from above like an Airbender, plus his very own unique style of breakdance firebending. It's just so, so awesome to watch.

2023-06-25 02:00:01 +0000 UTCI know you guys are super busy but you should definitely watch breakdowns of the final agni kai and the final battle because it is so much more crazy than I originally thought. One easy example that many people will throw out there is that Zuko uses all 4 types of bending in that battle his attacks and defenses are all formed around them and that just brings so much to this last moments of the show

2023-06-24 23:47:37 +0000 UTCJust for your information: as far as the general world is aware off, metalbending doesn't exist. so in the eyes of the airship crew a little girl busts down the door, falls face first onto it AND THEN BECOMES THE DAMN DOOR. in about 20 seconds Toph destroyed their sense of reality and put the actual fear of god in them lmao
