2023-06-27 22:03:41 +0000 UTCI always really liked the effects of this episode, seeing how they were pulling off each scene and bending ability with just props. And Toph loving her actor... XD It was always the best part.

There are many reactors who don’t get it at first, but it really is a great way to recap the show, and it’s so funny! They mention at the beginning when Sokka is reading the poster, how the playwright knew everything, he traveled the world and collected information on them. Is it still a bit of a stretch, yes, but it’s animated and a recap episode, so I didn’t care too much about that personally. Can’t wait for the finale reactions, it’s truly a masterpiece, those 4 episodes and the entire show. Korra is great too, you wont be let down, I promise!

2023-06-21 20:23:43 +0000 UTCAlso I don't know if people pointed this out already, but you should probably really plan in the time to watch all 4 final episodes in a row, maybe not even to upload them all on patreon already, if that is weird with the shedule but I think just for your own enjoyment. They just really work best as essentially a final movie. (edit: i just realized I think you mentioned it already that you plan to do it in the intro last episode, so nevermind me xD )

2023-06-21 16:41:28 +0000 UTCI lowkey adore this episode. It was sort of used as a minimum resources to have more money and time to put into the multiple part finale recap episode. But putting that on a meta level for the characters as a stage play to perceive and comment on and then still manage to get some character moments with Aang's jealousy in there is just making it a genuine watchable not useless episode. So for what this episode was intended to be I can't really think of any series that handled it better.

2023-06-21 03:04:52 +0000 UTCLol their comments about how awful the play was, and Sokka commenting that the effects were decent was a sly dig at the live action film they ruined xD

2023-06-20 20:15:25 +0000 UTCGrey DeLisle shows up as not-Azula again, in this episode she voiced the actress playing Katara.

2023-06-20 20:05:16 +0000 UTCIf you really think about it, Toph can’t feel (“see”) from their seats. So part of why Toph is *thrilled* when her actor bellows is because he is LOUD! It’s the most action she actually got during the whole play!
