A 12 year old dating a 14 year old actually isn't all that uncommon. Though usually the boy is the older one. While it's not extremely common, it's not all that unusual to happen in a situation when someone spends a lot of time together with a family he's not related to. Like someone falling for his best friend's younger sister. Heck, one of the girls I know has mostly dated her older brother's friends. Really though, it's just a 2 year old difference. I think only Americans seem to make a big deal out of it. Then again, America is the kind of country where one day it's legal to have sex with your 15 year old girlfriend because you're 17. And the next day it's illegal because you're 18.

At least she doesn't charge and gives mostly legit readings, even if she has given little words of support that has no bearings whatsoever to actual fortunes when it came to Aang's love life. This ep might not be one of my favs, but I love the Sokka moments, as he was legit right about fortune telling being bad/science being good. XD

2023-03-16 05:32:31 +0000 UTCSokka is about 15 at this point while Katara is 14 to clear up the possible confusion on them being twins. Aside from that, I just wanted to say that one of my favorite lines in the series is when Sokka tells the guy that science can explain why it rains lol
