One Piece Episode 315, 316

Episodes like this make me think of how and why one piece is so special. The emotional highs and lows that this manga and show has created reach levels that I believe are simply not normally possible in media content. This is a show that I have been watching since I was 12. I am now 31 and to this day there are pay off world building moments that harken back to things I first encountered when I was a child. And now this show and manga is a fun interest I share with my 10 year old daughter. Nostalgia as a word doesn't do this justice. It's something on a whole other level to me and, many others I'm sure.

I love this type of episodes so much, it brings up tiniest things that were here from the earliest episodes and connects them making the whole picture! And I don't really know why, but this scene with Robin and Aokiji is so special and kinda sacred to me, the golden hour, the way her drink freezes, and overall it's just two of my most favorite characters having their little moment, so cool. This is also no the first time that Haki was mentioned in the series. Blackbeard originally mentioned Haki back in Jaya (I think in episode 151). He said something about how Luffy's Haki wasn't that strong. Nothing big but it was mentioned then.

I love how casually OP drops huge info bombs. Just normal conversation, no fan fare or long pauses....just information and if you don't pay attention you might miss it!

Great thing about Oda's writing, is the adventure and world building and characters. =3 He truly wanted to make a huuuuuge journey of a story and has succeeded in spades~!
