It's literally my childhood, like 2010-ish when I was a kid, I would always notice this show playing at the background as well, and it actually feels really really fresh!!! I have basic knowledge as well and it will be so good to watch it together, once again, so excited for it It kinda reminds me of one piece(people have different powers, adventures aspect, funny but serious when it needs to, and Aang seems like a very solid mc), a little bit more childish maybe, but that's cool because nostalgia be hitting hard

This was def one of my favorite Western cartoons back in the day and still holds up after all these years, I'm happy to say. And while Sokka starts off a bit rough here, he is actually my favorite character of the entire series. XD

That is likely why you enjoy the enligsh "dub" more compared to the usual dubs for anime.
