He's more than just a simp and this is the first actual glimpse we can see of something deeper. Sanji's development will blow your mind. He's my favorite for a reason!

Very needed after all the drama in Water 7. I also really like Kaku in general, as he's got the looks of Usopp and Sanji, but the fighting style of Zoro and Sanji. Very interesting dude~! I do feel bad for Sanji in the second episode, unable to fight Kalifa properly due to his moral-hang ups. He totally would have won otherwise... But yesss, that OP is one of my favorites. Prob one of my top three.

I sort of believe that he actually thinks giraffes are pretty cool and that he does like his devil fruit. And then him arguing with Jabra who just keeps making fun of it, is just too fun.

2023-01-10 18:54:12 +0000 UTCIdc what some people say, I absolutely love Kaku's fruit and I feel like it fits his already cartoonish design very much. It also made me love Kaku even more cause just being the one cool-headed and normal guy of the group was a bit boring, now he's more fun.

I sometimes see people almost annoyed by it but for me the fact that we just went from Robin's insanely tragic backstory to absolute comedy madness, has always been quintessential One Piece to me. One Piece can often have me crying on one page but is then often just one or two page flips away from the last few of those tears coming out while already laughing again. And for some reason I don't mind that at all and it (at least to me) usually perfectly works out and doesn't feel like it takes away from either the tragedy or the comedy.
