This is why I love Luffy and the straw hats. They aren't some righteous heroes. They don't care about politics and world powers. The only reason they picked a fight with the world government is because of their friend.

One thing that gets me is that, other than her being afraid of her friends being targeted because of her, I think the biggest part of why she wanted to die in this particular moment was also her fear of being betrayed by the Strawhats down the line. She finally found those precious friends and she loved them and getting betrayed *by them* would have been so much more painful than anything before. So she just wants to die now before they could grow to despise her like everyone else does and it breaks my fucking heart. I love Robin, this arc fucking hurts. But also, love how stone cold the Strawhats are when they're declaring war on the freaking world for their friend. You don't fuck with the Strawhats and it's time the world, CP9 and especially Spandex learn that lesson in as painful a way as possible. Time for some beat downs.

I say this to everyone who watches sub, WATCH THE I WANT TO LIVE SCENE IN THE DUB. Robin's English VA's scream of "I want to live!" Is so gutteral and powerful. I like the sub and dub both, but in my opinion the dub of Robin's cry is perfection.

One Piece truly is an emotional ride, and I love it for it. Every character has their own baggage, some more heavy then the others but just as devastating when it took place during their youths. Saul was a true G, and Olvia only wanted what was best for Robin even if it meant removing herself from the picture. D= But that scene with Sogeking and the flag~! Freakin' EPIC. X3

This arc is peak fiction man. ya'll better strap in cuz now that the feels have been hit, the fun begins. Also quick tip on how you can pronounce kuzans epithet, think of it as sayin "ow, key ,G" but without pauses in between.

so you finally watched one of the saddest backstories in One Piece huh💔 to me, this isn't even the saddest, it gets worse 😭😭 And OH man, that moment when Robin said she wants to live, this's the most iconic moment in this entire saga, when someone says water7/Ennies Lobby, this moment right here is what comes to mind +you might wanna memorize the things that were said by Clover here, anything that has to do with the world of One Piece or history, or even character names, it's very important, it's safe to say that especially from now on you have to pay extra attention, cause the world is just gonna keep expanding, and if you're lucky enough to remember something important, you might be able to connect some points together and make theories😗🤭 just like AOT, One Piece has a lot of room for theories, but it's hard to get a grip on it since One Piece is long and ppl tend to forget stuff just a side note, but i get goosebumps whenever i see that elder of the five elders say " Ohara has known too much " Shows you how talented and smart those scholars were✨ another side note: i'm not gonna say names or anything, but you're gonna hate HIM even more. i'll remind you who i mean when the time comes.....

idc what anyone says Robin's VA will forever be goated for this imo payoff is what Oda is best at (beyond worldbuilding), this iconic moment is one of many exemples. Also idk if you guys watched the next episodes already but 279 to 283 are filler, there are however some pretty ridiculous/funny short skits at the end of each of them that you might wanna react to or even watch on your own eventually (compilations are easily found on YT last time i checked, just search for "Strawhat theater"). Anyways thanks for the double upload and dope reactions as always

you actually have heard of Admiral Sengoku, he is now the Fleet Admiral (aka the top of the top of the navy). hes the dude with seagull hat and pet goat. he showed up at the meating with Kuma and Doflamingo about the meeting of who sould take over after Crocodiles defeat (where blackbeard was brought up by his crewmember the sneaked in). i believe it was about episode 151

The moment that always gets me probably the most is when Robin explains she has grown up, and thinks that's maybe why her mom doesn't recognize her. It's this child logic that couldn't be further from the truth in that moment that sort of breaks my heart.
