2022-12-29 04:49:23 +0000 UTCThe first time I read the powerscaling I found it such a weird addition, but then I realized that oda always likes to have a bit of a ranking for a quick impression of the enemies like the numbering of Baroque works and otherwise often just bounties (like during Jaya where people completely switch their tone about him between Luffy's first bounty that is below Bellamy and then learning it actually increased to a much higher one) but because we're not dealing with other pirates this time, he kind of needed something else here. In typical oda fashion he also still kept it a bit vague by leaving devil fruits out so while Lucci is clearly above the rest it stays unclear how big the difference really is, once you also add his devilfruit in.
