2023-04-24 03:38:02 +0000 UTCfew eps back, when Enel brought the winners of the survivor game into Shandora, among them was the snake, if you remember, when the snake saw the city, it looked around and started crying. you guys laughed bc you thought it was bc of Luffy being in it's stomach, but if you go back you gonna realize that the snake cried because it recognized the city from when it was young, the snake remembered the good o'days and was finally home😭

It's only thanks to Noland's family and Calgara's tribe keeping their stories alive that makes sure the two don't disappear as the history of the city of gold did. Everyone wants the bell now, though, but for different reasons. XD I'm just glad Wyper is seeing eye-to-eye with the Strawhats, as they both have similar goals with the golden bell.

2022-10-14 01:37:34 +0000 UTCAfter the end of this Arc there is a filler arc, G-8 (196-206). Luckily it tends to be regarded as rather good and I agree. G-8 is probably the best filler arc I've seen so far and I tend to prefer it over the following Arc (207-219). Would recommend watching it on your own at the very least.

2022-10-14 01:21:24 +0000 UTCThe Noland flashback is so good that it even makes me forgive Wyper for being a dickl. Calgara and Noland should have had a happy reunion after the misunderstanding was cleared up and the way they got screwed over instead makes me so mad. It's not the saddest or most tragic backstory in One Piece but the fact that it still hits so hard in the feels is why it's one of my favourite OP flashbacks.
