2022-04-07 14:16:45 +0000 UTCThis is the way I interpret "believe in me who believe's in you" and how it changed to "believe in you who believes in yourself". At first, you don't know anything about the world, and you believe in your family and those who care about you. Their belief in you gives supports you in discovering the world. At some point you have to leave the nest and become self-sustaining. But it's not as simple as believing in yourself, because we all hit slumps when we just cannot (like Simon the past 3 episodes). "Believe in you who believes in yourself" means to abstract the transcendent part of you that your family believes in, the abstraction of your highest potential, and place your belief in that abstraction. This closes the loop and allows the person to grow without external support.
