My apologies, I've been catching up with some shenanigans in life and am only now really starting to feel back on top of things. At the end of last month, someone stole the catalytic converter off of my 2005 Prius, which I had owned since 2011. This effectively totalled the car and I was forced to work from home for a week while I scrambled to find a replacement car. Luckily a couple good things happened and I got about $7500 of income but still had to spend $22k to purchase a 2022 Prius. I am grateful for all the help you folks have given me to allow me to avoid financing a new car and having a job which allowed me to save up enough to absorb such a financial hit without any real detriment. I've also just gotten back from visiting my Dad as we had originally intended before my car was totalled by a scrap thief, and feel back to 'normal' enough that I realize I've been entirely focused on FeBUIary over on Bluesky this whole time and I forgot to upload January's art or anything new that I've scribbled in the margins of my life so far... and it's 1am and I'm tired. I'll do my best to get something posted tomorrow once I get home from work. I've got to go get my car's license plates from the company handling the insurance payout and sign some forms.
