Added 2020-02-10 05:18:47 +0000 UTCSometimes you just have to practice drawing from life, or at least a good picture. I haven't done any 'tone paper' charcoal style drawings since college. I'm glad to see that my skills have translated well to the medium. The bird is from photo reference, visually copied in only black/white, and the right wing is completely hand drawn.
