Added 2022-04-25 04:44:47 +0000 UTCAnd I took some time to visit the opera house a few towns over. It's an absolutely beautiful performance hall, and the performers were amazing. The opera was La Traviata. A tragic love story of a sickly, 'worldly' woman and a man from an esteemed family.
I'd like to go back and see Carmen at some point, but in the evening! That way I have an excuse to really dress up. Sorta reminds me of all the time I spent playing the flute or recording music. Ahh... The orchestra was amazing, too! The coat the conductor was wearing was really over the top. Like gold leaf designed.
All that aside, I decided to do this sorta line-less style I pull out every now and again. Fitting! It's been a while. I included the sketch I followed, and a gif to sort of compare all the changes I made along the way.
