Text of inspiration from his fic: “To that end, I can picture in my mind’s eye a scene with Starline gently lifting up Ampere’s goggles, gazing into her eyes in transfixed wonder. Ampere has tears running down her face, but she has a calm-yet-puzzled expression. Her hand is on on Starline’s as if to stop him or slow him down, but she’s not actually pulling the hand away. She can’t believe what’s happening, but she also wants to see where it’s going to go. Both of them have crossed over a threshold they didn’t even know existed, and they’re both amazed at what they’re seeing.”
