What a finale! One step closer to the truth, but with every answer comes like 3 questions lmao. Like for instance, its weird how Eren has touched titans before but that weird "electricity" never happened. Who is this "enemy"? hmhmhm

Remember she accidentally killed their friend before they even infiltrated the walls, and "stole" their titan power. She feels guilt and also knows that Reiner/Bert will be punished for losing such a valuable asset. To atone for what she did, she decided to go with them and return what she stole. You can assume that means Ymir will probably be eaten by someone else in order to give the titan power back to their side. Ymir also initially wanted to kidnap Historia and bring her along because Reiner agreed that he would guarantee Historia's safety. When she realized Eren has the "coordinate" this episode, her mind changed about bringing Historia along because now there is hope inside the walls. Ymir is extremely selfless in nature ever since she was a child. Always putting others above herself. In her backstory a few episodes ago, they show how she was kidnapped by some cult that worshipped her as a royal descendant. It was obviously a fake identity and she basically lived to make the cult worshippers happy. The cult got discovered by some kind of police/military and they all got turned into pure titans (which isn't explained how that happened yet). After turning back into human, Ymir accidentally learns about Historia and then later meets her. She learned that Historia (or Christa) was forced to lie about her royal bloodline because she was an illegitimate child of a royal family. Ymir felt so connected to Historia because they had very similar situations of lying about their identity and putting other people's wishes above their own. She taught Christa to live for herself and reclaim her real identity Historia. In the end though, Ymir was a hypocrite who did not follow her own words. She chose to accept her selfless nature and help Reiner/Bert so they don't return empty handed (remember they failed to capture the coordinate AND lost both the dead friend + Annie).
