I've been blurring small sections of the cel shading and making the shades cooler toned while making the parts closer to the light warmer tone! Or at least for this one, I do different levels of messing around depending on the piece Plus I zoom out while applying the initial shades which I think has helped alot! I try not to be scared of putting them down
