Party like it's 2021! 🍾

In the spirit of this year coming to an end it seems appropriate to celebrate New Year's Eve in lingerie and probably in bed.

2020 has been a lot. I made too many goals and failed at so many of them, some thanks to surprise pandemic and others because I completely underestimated the concept of time and energy. But other than that this year has been incredibly kind to me, considering the circumstances. Starting full-time freelancing in midst of a global pandemic has, surprisingly, worked out fine. The maybe head-over-heels decision to move in with my partner after not even a year of being in an official relationship worked out even better. I can't even imagine how much harder this year would have been  without our cozy home and mutual love and support.

And of course the support and patience from all my Patrons has been absolutely dreamy!! It means the world to me that there are so many people out there who help me make art. You are amazing!! 💖💖💖

All of this totally makes up for the big trips I planned for 2020 and had to give up (1,5 months in Japan, sigh) and all the other "small side-effects" of Covid-19. I hope that with my art I can give back to all of you and share some of the goodness that I am so fucking lucky to have in my life.

In terms of goals for next year I only have one very important one, which probably will take all year (or longer): to find the balance between being ambitious and enjoying life, while making an amount of plans which is closer to what I can actually finish. Crazy, I know, but I will try!

P.S.: While drawing this lady I realized that I rarely draw blondes... and her lingerie set is inspired by Honey Birdette, a lingerie brand I often drool over, but haven't purchased anything from yet. It's kinda pricey (which is okay for amazing lingerie) and located somehwere far away from me, so my fear would be a) paying crazy import taxes and b) having to spend a fortune to ship back and forth bras until I find the right size (everyone who ever tried buying matching bras probably knows that bra sizing is somewhere between rocket science and voodoo). So instead I draw the pieces I like!
