I was still charged for the update that was supposed to be out this month. I suspect others might have been too. I hope she doesn't forget that.

I'll give her credit for pausing the billing. I was going to pull my patronage for a month or so for unrelated financial concerns anyway, but putting a pause on the billing cycle does Notty some credit here, in my eyes at least. Wish she'd done it sooner, or taken a moment to warn us it was coming, but it's something.

With no communication, I am dropping my sponsorship until Notty returns.

And I'm gone. My guess is she got in over her head developing this and now doesn't know what to do. Apparently she doesn't have a problem keeping our money though. Shameful.

We actually have been quite lenient. It's okay to be late with releases, but proper communication with patrons is very important. I'm giving her till the end of the month to say something. I'm not asking for the game. I'm just asking for an update about what she's held up with and the progress of the upcoming build. She can take my money as long as she's being considerate to patrons. We all have been good to her and very patient. So I'm not surprised when someone finally loses the patience.

If I don't hear anything by next week I'm probably going to pull my patronage. This is too long for an imposed silence. Even a quick "Hi still here and working" post from her would be acceptable.

We love you Notty, please don't leave us!!! (What? What are you talking about? No we don't have abandonment issues... Just a group of healthy individuals waiting for a porn game here...) In all seriousness though, I mirror Parcel's sentiments, and hope you're not putting to much pressure on yourself. Two weeks without a word just feels so long because we're used to having you chat us up almost 24/7, but I know that if I tried to maintain that level of communications it would tire me out, so it's fine if you want to take a step back or slow the pace. Also, if in the end you reach the conclusion that you simply can't make an update each month, that's perfectly fine too. Just make an update every two months, or however long it takes you. We can be patient for a good game. Sure, we like the chatty, fast-paced Notty, but we'll take a slower, quieter Notty over her any day if it means a happier Notty. So yeah, I just hope everything is good, and that these are just normal delays. Hope we hear from you soon. Update or no update, we just wanna know that you're okay!

Just remember that the vast majority of us will be okay if stuff gets delayed. If you've put expectations on yourself that your patrons don't demand and that are going to stress you out, change those expectations! Lots of successful Patreon campaigns don't do monthly updates, so if trying to stick to them is a problem, just get rid of them. Whatever is going on, it's not as big a deal as it feels like.
