So much to report since getting back from book tour in the US. Thought I'd put it all in one massive post.

OPP (OTHER PEOPLE'S PODCASTS)
I talked in depth with two of my favorite people in the world about fiction. First, Doug Rushkoff on his show Team Human - lots in there about bullying, triggers, and also a dunk (obligatory!) on Richard Dawkins. Second, with Abby Martin on her call in show Dosed, on which we discussed the trajectory of my career (and how we met over a sex education ban) and fiction - plus some call in Q&A.

HAWK MOUNTAIN REVIEWS & SHOUT OUTS
Hawk Mountain is getting glowing reviews and shout outs, and honestly, it feels amazing. The Irish Times review says that Hawk Mountain “stakes a serious claim for best crime fiction debut of the year.” And the Irish Independent did a whole feature on me, complete with DILFy photoshoot, as well as a separate review of the book. The Irish equivalent of Rolling Stone, Hot Press, gave the novel a great review, and so did (and this one is a bit of a surprise!) The Irish Business Post. Finally, Hawk Mountain also got a great shout out by comedy superstar Anthony Jeselnik on his podcast The Jeselnik & Rosenthal Vanity Project!

If you haven't noticed, I gave the patreon structure a bit of a makeover. RIP JAMES LOVELOCK
Just want to acknowledge here that one of the most important and visionary thinkers of our time, James Lovelock, passed away, recently. Among his many accomplishments, along with my mentor Lynn Margulis, he developed the Gaia Theory, which proves that the Earth regulates itself much like an organism. When I spoke to him last year for the show, he was, at 102 years old, as lucid, brilliant, and optimistic as ever.
