This time we tried to create a .psd with full steps of our process - from research and sketch to final color render.
When we compiled all the steps together we realized again how long-winded the process was, really took a lot of figuring out...

The format, especially for the psd file, is incredibly helpful! It really helps to see how things all come together. Out of curiosity, is there a reason you put down color before switching things to grayscale? Is it to help get the right tones in the grays for the final colors at a later step?

Every time towards the end I was surprised to see it get more and more amazing, thinking "wow, that's a lovely finish"' then it would skip to the next shot and get even better with softer shading, then an even better still with improved lighting, and again and again xD Your work never ceases to blow me away. Wonderful to see these processes.
