Underpainting and basing.
Added 2021-12-14 19:54:07 +0000 UTCI get asked so much I thought I best put it here. I use the Vallejo dipping formula. But paint it on!
Mix it 2 parts brown one part black…..it’s not an exact science. Add a bit of water just a dash.
I base onto metal washers with rodent dust (the kind they bathe in) superglued on.

Thanks, Vallejo oil washes? And sorry for the barrage of questions.. what brushes do you recomend to apply them?
2022-01-16 17:00:16 +0000 UTCOh yes this is just the base I use. Its normal acrylics on top of that when I fully paint a model. Though I am experimenting with oil washes and trying to use less colour to be arty! ;)
