Somehow she got promoted a lot more after the success of Legally Blonde than he did even though he was more famous than she when they made Cruel Intentions. I wouldn't say she's exceedingly more talented than he is, but people try to act as if that's the reason. I think sometimes more plain looking men get better promotion and parts because they are easier to sell to a wider audience of both men and women, ie Edward Norton and Liam Neeson are decently ok looking but not that handsome, and they were promoted more. It's just like how a lot of women don't like watching very pretty women because they get jealous. They want "girl next door" who is relatable. Pretty but not too pretty. It took a long time for Brad Pitt to be considered a good actor. Is he? I would say he's not that much better than he was in the 90s. He was always decent, but there was a lot of anti-him as a serious actor and more he's just to look at type of sentiment. Ryan has had the same type of casting problems. I think he's better at acting than Brad and smarter.

Reese gives me an impression she is like Tracy in "Election." Not surprised she is good in business. She gives a ruthless vibe low key.
