I am personally still enjoying the season. Although queer stories are important I appreciate the art that comes with Dragula more than Drag Race's. It just came to a point where I mostly know what to expect from a good DR contestant but never with a Dragula contestant. I'd never be introduced to performers like Ork, Nio and Throb on DR and they do better represent a big side of my aesthetic. That being said I fully understand dropping the show. Why bring JayKay back if they're only gonna be bullied and somehow still annoying to the audience? Sticking by that first elimination would make the season much more bearable. There is good chemistry in this cast. Merry and Fantasia, Ork and Nio, Throb and Jarvis. But instead of making, for example, Nio and Ork's thing look like an actual connection between humans who talk and getting to hear them open up to each other, we brush what they have off as a joke and focus on JayKay's Bullying Special for 25 minutes. It's a caricature of human interaction at this point.
