2023-10-28 23:51:26 +0000 UTCI loved this episode but did wonder how the Panto idea would relate to international audiences. Panto is a theatre show which re-tells an old fairytale. It normally runs around Christmas time. The cast is usually celebrities and the female roles are generally played by men. There is a ton of innuendo and jokes but it’s a family show; because the adult jokes go over the kids heads. One of the main staples is audience interaction; the whole ‘He/She’s behind you!’ is always shouted out by the audience. Hope that helps any international viewers with a bit of context. Also Mera; Alexandra Burke is a singer and also stage actress. She won the UK X Factor in 2008.
