Thankfully that hasn’t been the case with my sisters foster daughter. We were worried that it would be but they’ve been really good. Out of 5 kids she was the oldest & the one the mother took everything out on so she was removed from the home. The thought of visitation would really upset her so they talked to her case worker and they’ve never forced her to see her parents. They arranged one trip for her to spend the day with her siblings and while everything was ok she doesn’t want regular contact with them so they’ve never forced it. She’s much happier now that she knows that she never has to go back to her parents.
