The tree was decorated with gold bauble ornaments and red ribbon. There was a plastic bag secured over her head by masking tape that she had brought to the scene.
Once the bag was removed, the woman was found wearing headphones with a portable cassette player. A recording of comedians Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner doing their 2000 Year Old Man routine was in the player.

I read speculation that she chose that area as a statement to her childhood upbringing. Her sibling found 4 copies of a book she wrote in her fridge. It was called "the target child" and was about her childhood and a negative childhood up bringing.
