YES! I live in Houston, and Joel Osteen is so creepy. My best friend was on her lunch break at some kind of buffet restaurant near Lakewood Church, and she was trying to figure out why she couldn't get anywhere near the salad bar. In her words, all the little blue hair ladies were crowded around Joel Osteen, just watching him like he was Jesus, as he slowly picked out his salad toppings, and she pushed through and said "I don't have time for this" causing audible gasps. That is why she's my best friend!

And fwiw I just came in to talk about Dolly Parton posting a photo of her husband. I saw a photo of him years ago but he was more middle aged then -- well maybe about 35 but that's actually middle age if average lifespan is 70. The photo was from the side, he obviously didn't see anyone taking his photo, he had a baseball cap on, thinner hair and a bit of wrinkles. About the same body type as in the photo Dolly just released. He looked to me like Dale Gribble from King of the Hill, pretty much. A lot of guys with that same look in bait and tackle shops. The photo Dolly released, he's very young in that picture. Maybe he just hates having his photo taken. Some people do. Anyway, just wondered if anyone saw it. Because the first thing I thought of was Enty's podcast not long ago, a 100 Questions one, someone asked about Dolly's husband in it. First time she's released any image of him as far as I know, and she almost never mentions him.

I wondered why people were talking about this and then scrolled up to see someone addressing 'me' and knew I hadn't broached this topic recently. I see now it's a post from 9 September 2021 pinned recently here. There is a lot that a lot of us could go into but seek out the top scientists and listen to what they are saying. Above all stop trying to force this thing (which neither stops catching nor spreading it) on people who *do not want it* let alone *on children* when it's caused permanent heart damage to children already. (Teens are children.) Some of us know some who have been impaired by this thing. So people please *MYOB* If nothing else. I'm not usually rude but this is a permanent decision being forced on people who do not want it. It is still EUA, carries risks, and *Does not protect others anyway!* How many lies have they been caught in btw?! Now please stop trying to shame others and stop bringing this up again and again, it's highly inflammatory and it will cause people to react because *we are fighting for our health and lives.* Do what you want, people, and leave others alone.

I won't even go into how many people are killed by medical errors, prescription reactions, misdiagnoses, or how many doctors do not know or care what side effects are, or how many are in it for money or the rate of clinical narcissism among doctors. Or Big Pharm's record either. And by the way *these are all still under emergency use authorization,* still considered experimental even in BP's own communications. And there is no indemnity. And there have been thousands of adverse events. People are sick of this being forced on them or total strangers shilling for BP.

ETA: Nice how this: "I don't want to get into a tit for tat." Was replied to with: "Rare as it is these days, this is still a gossip podcast. Not a vax chatroom" So if you did want a tit for tat just say so. But I don't think that belongs here either. I was responding to your and other comments/questions/accusations, so if you don't want to "chat," don't "chat." Or keep kvetching if you want. I'm not the boss here, either.

As stated: I only chimed in because people of another opinion were being bashed. The eternal "granny killer/socially irresponsible/anti science" epithets got old some time ago. They're not true, and it's a way to intimidate others. Ironically those tactics *are* anti facts and anti science. And certainly they are anti-fairness. Self defense of millions of people (see below) is relevant to life today, which is relevant to gossip; and this stuff *is* often mentioned in blinds and gossip, btw; it impacts everybody. I didn't want a debate either, but, the insults kept coming in. Why do some feel it's OK to insult others and they're not allowed to respond? I'm not here to "chat" about that either as I said in the beginning and I tried to keep it cute and keep it moving. But the insults kept coming. It matters because this type of propaganda ("anti science, ignorant, granny killers, socially irresponsible") is resulting in sweeping policies which are changing the free world. And on a personal level people are being beaten and even killed, the paranoia has become so heightened around this topic. If you don't like the conversation don't keep returning to it and poking it with a stick. You can still scroll E., and you don't have to keep revisiting the conversation between 2 -3 other people, if you don't want to. (Is it even on the first page any more?) You often post "it's not a true crime podcast" or whatever, too, so, those are your opinions, but Enty is the only boss here. Passive aggressive snark and insults don't really belong here either, E. Those harsh the mellow even more, in my opinion, and are in fact why I responded at all, to begin with. (As I already said. But I tried to stick to an actual discussion vs. snark and snipes.)

The people I mentioned *are* scientists however, and there are many more besides. Many have gone into detail about "the science," the history, the studies, and I've looked at various sources including CDC's own website (which recommends discontinuing PCR by the way), and other "official" sites, which have some of the studies on them. The jab aside, the apparatus being put into place around it also has many people concerned. But, the "pro" side mostly insults or makes false equivalencies. I don't want to get into a tit for tat.

I don't claim to be a scientist. I said that it is unfair and unfounded to accuse people who ask questions of "believing what they want and never looking at the science." It is such a canard by now and in my observation it's the opposite. Although I wouldn't quite put it that way. I think a lot of people are taking it under duress, a lot of people trust what they are told by authority figures and a lot of people still believe big entities are benign or caring.

insomnia: I like "you" but we disagree on this one. It's because of the disparaging remarks some make against those who have another opinion that I chimed in at all. It is unfounded and unfair. The claim some have made here about the jab is not proven. The jabs are still EUA. The approved one isn't out yet (which begs the question on what basis was it approved.) If I'm not mistaken these are the attempts at a corona virus ("common cold") jab which in the past were deemed too risky to do human trials with, because *with cytokine storms the animals in trials died.* There is so much people are not *allowed to* go into in most places. Yet they get disparaged. It's *because* people "looked at the science." No one's getting their info off "social media" since it's banned there. People (same who disparage "hesitancy") are making claims which go against the nature of the formula itself, and contrary to what some researchers and scientists and doctors are saying. But you won't find any of that on the main road. Some of those scientists? Man who invented PCR. Man who discovered HIV. (Both Nobel prize winners.) Man who helped create mRNA technology. The rabbit hole goes deep on this one. (Red pill or blue pill?) There is a lot to say but, as you said in the last two lines: "People believe what they want to believe. And don't even look at the science." I gather we believe that about different crowds, though.

What does this even mean.? If you get a vaccination , it’s pretty hard to get coronavirus, therefore, pretty hard to pass it to any one else. I am shocked that only about 50+ percent of the United States has been vaccinated. People believe what they want to believe . And don’t even look at the science.

Forcing someone to take a medical test is reasonable? And which test? And why if they already had it? I'm not here to debate, and I'm actually here to avoid serious topics. But, reasonable? I've seen videos where the tests are assembled by barefoot kids on a floor. Only total choice would be reasonable and they're taking away more of that in stages.
