2021-07-08 20:10:48 +0000 UTC14:50 there is 'allegedly' a lot of abuse (SA/incest) within the Amish community, and treatment of animals (such as puppy mills for instance) isn't what outsiders might expect either. There are sites online run by former Amish, and people who have tried to buy the worst-treated brood dogs from the puppy mills.
