I remember watching the trial with my mother-in-law and a sister- in- law when a forensic scientist was on the stand and said the duct tape might not have killed Caylee. When I heard that, I told both MIL and SIL that Casey would be found not guilty. They disagreed and were upset that I even said it, lol. That testimony though opened the "shadow of doubt". I and thousands of others followed the case obsessively but the jury had not and did not realize what type of person Casey really was.
