Yes! My housemate is a chef, and he was saying the same thing. It's a cutthroat field. Of course, I had assumed it wouldn't be easy, but didn't realize it's this competitive! I would never survive 😂

2020-10-11 13:17:30 +0000 UTCI remember Marco Pierre White talking about Gordon Ramsay opening his own restaurant and aiming for 3 Michelin Stars, and he said that aiming for the stars is pretty much a war, you gotta be incredibly aggressive and hungry for success, and once you win them, you gotta start another war, a defensive one, even harder, to keep them. So, yeah, at a certain level, I think what Doujima says is right. High level chefs must be really competitive and aim constantly to improve themselves.
