A Growing Desire

Sapphire smiled and took Hazel's hand, leading her onto the dance floor. They moved together, their heavily fattened bodies swaying in time with the music as others at the party moved to join them. As Hazel looked around, she was a little relieved to see that nearly everyone on the dance floor was just as over-engorged as she and Sapphire were. Dresses were tight and suit jackets were unbuttoned with bellies escaping from underneath. She sighed. "Thank goodness it's not just me whose dress is nearly see-through..." Hazel felt her heart race suddenly as Sapphire's hand slipped lower down her back, pulling her closer.

"Hazel. Are you okay?" Sapphire whispered in her ear, her breath hot against Hazel's fur.

Getting ahold of herself, Hazel nodded. Despite the earnestness of her body language, she was still overwhelmed and she feared that it showed on her face as she looked right at Sapphire. "I'm just... happy to be here," she said softly. Her belly rumbled slightly, beginning to digest the food that she had eaten just a short time ago. "And I'm full, ehehe..."

Sapphire's eyes met hers, and Hazel felt a jolt of electricity run through her body. "Ha. Me too," Sapphire said with a smile.

Hazel opened her mouth to say something else but was cut off as the music shifted, the tempo slowing down. At this point, Hazel could hear not only her stomach churning but also her roommate's as Sapphire pulled her closer for the slow dance. Their already soft bodies were pressing together, and Hazel swore that they were already starting to feel even softer from their mutual digestion. Hazel could feel the warmth of Sapphire's fur against her own, and her heart was pounding so loudly in her ears she could barely hear the music.

"I have to tell you something," she whispered, her voice shaking.

Sapphire looked down at her, concern etched on her features. "What is it, Hazel?"

Hazel gulped. She almost said what she was thinking straight out, but in a snap decision she thought that it would better to try and lead into what she wanted to say. The need in her heart was growing stronger and stronger, just as the dress that clung to her body was noticeably getting tighter on her. Hazel tried to relax her mind and her body, taking a few deep breaths. When she could begin to hear the music of the party again, she said, "It was... really, really hard deciding to move to Clearwater."

"I remember," Sapphire said, nodding. "You didn't know anybody in the city, and you didn't even have your foot in the door anywhere career-wise."

"Just a dream, and that interview for Candice and Candi's Café. That was all I had..." Hazel looked down to the side, keeping her feet moving to the slow-paced rhythm of the song. "But, I also had you, Saph."

Sapphire tilted her head. "Me?" She chuckled. "What did I do? You achieved all of your success by yourself."

Hazel shook her head, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "No. It wasn't just me... Sure, I got the job and I love it, but... Without you and your offer to be your roommate, I... I don't know if I would have had the guts to get the train and come here."

"Wow... I didn't know it meant that much to you." Sapphire rubbed Hazel's back to try and soothe her. "I opened that ad just because I was bored and needed people to spice up my life." She grinned, squeezing the catcoon in her arms closer to her. "You definitely succeeded at that. You've been an amazing roommate, and I mean that."

"You have too..." Hazel continued, reaching up and wiping her eyes with her arm. "You, and the others. But, you were there first. And you've gone above and beyond for me. You... always helped me feel better about myself when doubt was creeping in about helping work at the café. You were always there to answer my texts in the middle of the night when I was feeling crappy. You even went with me to visit home when I was feeling homesick! I mean, who does that?"

Sapphire's smile was warm and constant even as she felt part of her dress audibly rip around her hip. "Someone who cares about you a lot. Like a good friend should."

"More than most friends I've ever had would do..." Hazel whispered, closing her eyes and leaning closer into Sapphire's stomach. "I just... love being around you. I love your smile, your eyes, I love it when you fly us into the sky. I love it when you give me gifts, food, clothes, video games, you give me so much. Heck, even when you tease me it... it feels different."

Sapphire stared at Hazel, watching as the shorter roommate was also growing at a faster rate. Hazel's clothes were tearing like Sapphire's own, but the dress that she was wearing was rapidly becoming more transparent, allowing nearly everyone at the party to see the cream colored fur underneath, but especially the massive orbs that her ass were quickly becoming. Hazel's emotions were so intense that she didn't even notice it but Sapphire was blushing much more than usual watching it happen. Not that it was any different for her, Sapphire could barely see over her own massive breasts that Hazel's head was nearly shoved right between. She hoped that this dress wouldn't be completely ruined but she would get over it.

"What is different about it exactly?" Sapphire eventually asked.

Hazel took a deep breath, her eyes locked on Sapphire's. "I... I think I'm in love with you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sapphire's eyes widened in surprise, but she didn't pull away. "I know," she said softly. "I've known for a long time."

Hazel felt a weight lifted off her chest, and she leaned into Sapphire's embrace. "Do you... feel the same way?" she asked hesitantly.

Sapphire's answer was immediate. "Of course I do," she said, her voice low and intense. "I love you, Hazel." She blinked a few times, trying to hold back some emotions of her own. "I'm so happy to finally get to say that."

Hazel looked to Sapphire's face, still managing to look her in the eyes despite how large the wolf's breasts had become from the weight gain. "Finally? You mean, you've been waiting to say this?"

Sapphire's hands moved down Hazel's back past her tail, her fingers lightly squeezing Hazel's extremely plush buns. "Only a few months into your stay, I knew that my feelings were going in that direction. I love your body, but I also love your personality. You're so freaking cute. Everything you do is in earnest and you believe the best in people. You're pretty innocent in a lot of ways. It's honestly adorable."

"When you put it that way... I guess that's true." Hazel blushed as Sapphire played with her butt, smiling warmly. "Your teasing was always kind of like what you're doing now."

Sapphire closed her eyes, humming quietly. "It was my way of showing you that I was interested. I love having a bit of fun, as you know. I wanted you to be the one to decide if it was real love or not."

Hazel giggled. "You should have said something, you big, silly wolf..."

Sapphire smirked in return, squishing Hazel's butt a bit more in her hands. "Oh, shut up and kiss me, you sexy catcoon."

The two of them leaned in, their fat, fluffy bellies squishing and warping into each other and making every movement even more sensual and warm. Sapphire's massive breasts parted just enough for Hazel's head to fit in-between, their eyes closed and their lips pursed. The two of them met in the middle, the passionate kiss enhanced by the warmth and softness of their bodies pressing into each other sensually. Hazel's arms wrapped around Sapphire, or at least she tried to do so, and Sapphire's grip on Hazel's massive rear end tightened. Their feet stopped moving to the music, the two newly minted lovers getting completely lost in the moment like they were the only ones in the room.

After nearly half a minute, Hazel pulled away from Sapphire but continued to keep her arms around her. Tears of joy were welling up in her eyes, but she blinked the tears out of her eyes and onto her face. "Saph... I'm so happy. Thank you..."

Sapphire smiled warmly, stepping back a bit and holding onto Hazel's hands. "I'm really glad that you finally were able to admit your feelings to me." She paused for a few moments and allowed Hazel to dry her eyes. "But, your feelings aren't just for me, are they?"

Hazel's eyes slowly opened, her smile changing into a look of stunned shock. "Huh...?"
