Patreon restructuring incoming

Billing still paused for September, but the round of changes is now coming by the end of the month:

$2 tier will be removed

$3 tier will be renamed to Supporter and have no benefits

$6 tier will be renamed to Benefactor and have all the uploads, uncompressed lowres + hires versions of images

On top of that, no more postil delay between Patreon / public and no more Patreon-exclusive images. I'm already in the process of putting all my art from recent years togethe to upload them in batches sorted by year. And as always, Patrons will have unrestricted access to any past post, regardless of their signup date.

That was the tl;dr, a little bit more background here:

I used to be very obsessed, even anxious about growing my following. Sure, big number go up is still very nice and, if you make a living doing art, necessary.

But over time I realized that having Patreon exclusive art, posting delays, twitter handle signature and Patreon wordmark on art just wasn't how I wanted to present myself as.

So I rethought things. I'll be restructuring the Patreon to be a tip jar + higher tier to find uncompressed lowres files + hires versions. On top of that, I reduced my signature to a more aesthetic and simple " Ra' ".

This of course doesn't work for everybody, and in no way am I suggesting it's the way to go. But for me personally, I prefer it. I've sort of adopted the mindset that if I work hard, try my best to do well on commissions and just post art, people will come to me, without me having to actively encourage them to.

It's taken a lot of anxiety off my shoulders.
