Weekly Developer Log #4: Ship Builder Kickstarter

Today I bring some updates on the Ship Builder project. If you missed last week's update check the link Weekly Developer Log #3: Ship Builder Kickstarter | Patreon.
I know this might be random but it's not. I added a picture of a ship deck, just to reinforce my idea. I've searched for Ship Wooden decks to find the correct orientation for planks. Most of them, if not all, the references that I found on the boards are from the rear part to the tip, never from left to right, therefore I will stick with my initial orientation. The planks are always alternated so that seams are barely visible. I will try to keep this but, the tiles will have visible lines between them.
This week I worked on 3d, I made the structure for the Tip tiles and began to work on the detail layers.
Problem found
While working on the 3d I decided to grab the 3d printed model to check the details once again. When I went to my working desk the model was curved and this kept me thinking about how bad it would look like once the ship is all assembled...
To fix this problem I will try 2 things, more reinforcement beams underneath the tiles and more curing time. Another solution would be to use a low-shrinkage resin but this is out of my plans for now.
I believe that After gluing the tiles the problem if kept like this would only get worse.
Next week
I will keep working on the 3d to make detailed tiles for the mid and tip sections. I will also reinforce the tiles and run 2 test prints to see which will warp less (a Heavy structure and a Light reinforcement).
