Forest Troll Warband

Hello everyone!

Update March 2nd

Added 2 new pictures, one with heads (Hairs and tusks, also created a wood mask, based on a CG, with some differences to fit the nose). The other image is the weapons I did.

Today I will be blocking the poses.

Update March 1st

Due to monthly shift routines, I could not work as much as I wanted, here's a follow-up. I finished the Hand Ax and the Spear. I had 3 shields blocked but decided to work with only 2. On the bottom, there's the Bow (not finished yet). I also made 0 Hairs lol. I haven't made the arrows and Quiver, but I do intend to make them.

Today I will finish the weapons and then make the hairs.

Update February 28th

Added 2 new images, the first one I detailed the female with all the armor pieces from 3 views. On the second there is a male and a variation of the male since there will be 4 male models I will change armor pieces to give them a difference, I will also make 3 hairs (one of them is bald, does that still counts? lol).

Today I will be working on the Hair and some weapons.

Update February 27th

Finished adding more details to the female body and also redone her face. Placed the armors that were already made. I will now create the new armor pieces.

The female chest cloth it's not done yet, only blocked.

Update February 26th

I adjusted a bit more the female proportions, gave her a bit more muscles, and increased her head a bit. On the male, I reduce a bit the width, made the arms a bit smaller, and reduce the head a bit.

With this I think they are close to each other in terms of proportions and the hands are the same now.

To make a better clean cut I will create a bracer that will be the same on both models.

Next step: I will refine both male and female bodies, adding definitions and muscles. And afterward, I will start adding the armor bits. The female head will be reworked

Note: While removing the hair pieces from the Chieftain I ended up with that bald long side hair and I think it's interesting so I will keep it to add to one of the Trolls.

Today I placed the Werebear Shaman on the printer, and while it prints I started working on the Forest Troll Warband.

If I would be doing only the males it would be easy but I was also requested to make a female.

Things started to get a bit complicated. Putting a female head and breasts on the male would be a no for me, so I decided to pick my last released troll and start from there.

The female troll was a bit smaller (I made her based on the base female troll proportions). I scaled her up to a point where she could be closer to the males in size (like the Zandalari).

Placing male and female side by side I could notice some things, first of all, the head is way smaller compared to the male, and the legs are longer (I don't think I would change that much). The arms are way too thin, normally I would not get bothered by this but, since I wanted to make them modular, having this discrepancy would be hard for the hands (In the picture I placed hands near her, just to show how out of place that would look like).

For now, my idea is thin down a bit the male arm and reduce the hand size, making the female head bigger and the body shorter (not much, just enough to give her a bit more bulk). One thing that I am considering is to make her like a female maldraxxi gladiator proportions, what do you guys think?
