Corruption of the Glade - Discussion of ideas

Hello everyone!

I started collecting references for start sculpting the werebears that will be released in February.

For body proportions, I will go with WC3R. As far as size goes, according to the wiki they do have from 7-10 feet in size (2.13 - 3 meters) and 3 feet in width (0.9 meters), this miniature will be pretty bulky. I will use something in the middle of 8,5 feet (2.59 meters) the width will be adapted. The height will be measured at the center of the eye. I don't know how big this will be but it will probably use a 40mm or 50mm base, Once I have everything blocked out I will check once again.

The thing is, even though it's the corruption of the Glades, the Furbolgs that I was planning to make are not corrupted. To my understanding corruption could be related to color schemes and maybe poses (more aggressive, perhaps?).

So far I don't see a way to make all Furbolgs modular but I will try.

Warriors: Wooden shield, Club, Hammer, and Claws.

Hunter: Bow, Spear, wooden shield, and Claws

Shaman: Spell, Staff, Staff evil version, Claw

Any weapon or hand suggestion?

Any pose or armor piece suggestions?

Even though I managed the Hell Vanguard I won't do the same release style with this one. All warriors will be released, then the Hunter and then the Shaman.

Best regards,

Ivo

Hahaha, I get the idea.

Naked with a club and shield! + a classic furbolg necklace - looking at images, I might be thinking too much of the WoW style furbolg instead of the wc3 ones, but I found a couple images from wc3 that were naked (well, no armour that is)

hahaha guess you have a suggestion lol... I was going to make an armored warrior lol... guess I will put less armor then

Amazing - No suggestions from me, the standard unarmoured warriors+shaman is all I wanted from the release - excited for Furbolgs!

Mini Manatee

The corruption would come from the surroundings, awesome I really liked that idea

as for corruption - there can be some hollowed out tree stumps with funghi on the side. would make some good scatter terrain and we could use some neon green translucent paint on this to portray the eerie look of Felwood.

ah ok! 🐻 anyway i'm sure you can include a wolverine-like chieftain / champion with dual claws ready for some shredding! 🀘

that's because they are not really furbolg, they do have racoon traces

Just checked - the furbolg in Northrend are called Wolvar - in my mind they were always Furbolgs! πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ they seem a bit smaller than their brethren in Kalimdor πŸ€”

Awesome! Just added the reference to my sheet

Sensible approach. Please be sure in include Chief Loguhn (WotLK Tuskarr Daily Furbolg Youngins Farm Quest) with his "claws" ;)
