Sun's Fury Camp - Dragon Ostrich (WIP)

Hello everyone!

Update November 25th

A quick update. I have finished all the models and supported them. Unfortunately, I can't release them now because of printing issues, I am currently on my Third printing batch (I hope everything goes well).

The models will be divided/published like this:

• SFC Dragon Ostrich Wild Pack - Will contain all 3 models without rider/saddle
• SFC Dragon Ostrich Riders A - Will include 1 pose of mount + Rider(Male and Female, one each) and only saddle version.
• SFC Dragon Ostrich Riders B - Will include 1 pose of mount + Rider (Male and Female, one each) and only saddle version.

I will also include the Elven Guard Hand options in this pack. Male and Female, riders are only half body that can be glued over the mount (that contains the rider's legs), at least this is my plan, after printing I will see how the connections work.

These are the last miniature for this month. I will start to prepare advertising material and a monthly rotation but, before that, I will work a bit on Aorus WindRider and his chimera this weekend.

Update November 22th

I have posed all 3 Ostriches but I haven't finished the details, today I will focus on those. I will also work on the Riders.

The way things are going I expect to put them on the printer tomorrow and maybe release them on November 24th.

Update November 21th

Today I will focus on the Head armor, straps, and saddle (seat). I will also start posing the miniature today.

For now, I don't have the correct amount of poses but I have an Idea

Pose A: Wild, Heads down as if picking something on the ground

Pose B: Wild + Ride, open legs looking at a side (some kind of idle stance)

Pose C: Wild + Ride (running/walking)

Due to contact points/overlapping geometry, it will be impossible to print a male and female to glue over the mount, so I will have to include their lower parts as part of the mount or print in one go, I am tempted to go with my first choice.

Update November 20th

Finished the body and started blocking the armor pieces. Today I will do a bit more of blocks before refining the shapes and add details to them.

Update November 19th

I have started adding details from the head to the toes. I will work now on the wings and afterward the scales.

I still have to work on the transition between feather types (Neck/Head/Torso).

I think that I might be able to start blocking the saddles and armor bits today.

Yesterday after the release of Elven Guard A, B, and C, I started the Dragon Ostrich. For now, it's in the block out, only rough shapes to figure out proportions. I also blocked out the volume of the feathers to give a bit of the overall idea of what it will cover.

Regarding anatomy, even though I went for this leg type (that is not Ostrich bone structure), I will try a different leg type that is more birdish, probably like a chicken.

The Legs will be covered in scales, and the chest and neck will have a row of scales.

If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments. Since it's still early in development I can change things.
