Hello everyone!
Update October 17th
This is the last update. I have finished sculpting the hands and the face (Just realized something and will make a final adjustment). Now I will assemble the file to export and support the miniature.
I have made 3 sets of hands for her: Mugs and Plate, Notebook and quill, Microphone and empty hand.
I have cut down the broom/mop for this release because I thought that the schedule for this month is really tight because of the number of miniatures that I want to release.
Update October 16th
I have posed Elven Worker C and finished the clothing. Now I am working on the hand options and will sculpt the face later on. Looking at her pose, she would look fantastic as a spell caster.
I want to finish her today and put it in the printer later tonight or at the latest tomorrow morning.
---End of Update---
Before I start, please forgive my makeup, I am a noob painting faces ^^.
After putting the Worker B on the printer, I started working on the third Worker. She is supposed to be a Barmaid but could be some other type of worker (with less muscles).
When I started, I wanted a detailed dress so that's what I ended with. The golden part is carved but only on the edges, the reason for that is that since this is supposed to be a delicate dress adding volume to make the details or having all golden parts as a deep recess would be awkward (at least this makes sense in my head).
Her hair, when I started it was supposed to be a little wavy, but I kept playing with it and had this idea of making it a curly hair, what do you think? should I keep adding volume or make it wavy as my initial plan.
Pose: for her pose I will make a stride, with hips bend in one direction, giving more highlight to her legs and hips. On her left arm she will be holding a plate with mugs, and on the left a mug with some ale foam dripping.
As alternative I will make a broom, notebook and quill.
Just crossed my mind that I could make her into a Songstress...
Expression:
I want to give her a cheerful expression, with open mouth as if speaking something.
That's it for today, let me know what you think in the comments below.
Best regards,
Ivo
