The Dark Council - Bat Swarm (Test print)

Hello everyone!

This miniature was not planned as a release but, when I finished X'Avon's bat cape I realize that I had some nice bats and why not make a bat swarm with it, and so I did.

I created 3 bat swarms using the bat models, clumping the bats without losing their reality (too much intersection) and also keeping them together after 3d printed was a challenge but I think it looked cool in the end.

Supporting these bats was harder than clumping, each bat is small and has many pointy tips that could fail so I carefully checked the model many times.

Tip, be careful when removing the supports or you might find a bat or two in your hands, I had this issue and super glued the bat to the swarm.

If you wish to print this swarm as a 10% bigger, I think it would make them a bit more resistant and easier to support, but I am happy with my size, this might be a personal taste and production restrictions.

I will work on the renders to release them later today.
