Patron Commission July - Magma Knight (WIP)

Hello everyone!

Update: August 2nd

This is the last WIP, I have finished the weapons and started posing the model. The requested pose was an Idle but, after posing it was kind of without interest, so I decided to change a bit. I left him with a walking pose, almost like saying "I am coming for you!".

I still need to finish the cloth, body, hands, and hair.  

Update: August 1st

It's a bit late for today's update but I wanted to show a bit of the progress. Unfortunately, today is the beginning of the next cycle so I could not produce as much as I wanted. Today I finished the boots and started the shield (90% done). I will work a bit more today and see if I can make part of the sword.

I think it will be possible to print him tomorrow night making him available, before August 5th.

Update: July 29th

Finished detailing shoulders, Gloves, Jaw, Belt, and Legs. I will now move to the boots. I am still thinking if I add some small wrinkles to the chest and shoulders, where the magma is, to give a feeling of liquid, I think it will be too small to even show up on a 32mm scale miniature. 

Today I will be doing some End of Month Routine and I won't be working this weekend, so I expect to finish him late Monday or Tuesday.

Update: July 28th

I finished detailing the chest piece and started working on the shoulders. I will finish the shoulders and move to the Jaw (His main piece of armor, at least Iconic). I still have to add details to the Gloves, Legs, and belts.

Update: July 26th 

Started adding a few more details to some parts of the model but nothing is finished yet, I think I am almost finishing the block phase. I am currently working on the chest area to pop up some stone formations there.

Today I will work on renders and new Banners for the Patreon page, but if there is time I will work more on the model and will have a new update tomorrow.

While I don't know if the name is the best for this miniature, I will go with it.

I was requested to make the miniature from the artwork, in Idle pose with a Sword and Shield (Both hot). Right now I have only a basic block out to show.

This miniature will be available in August.

I will be refining the shapes and will probably have more to show tomorrow. I will keep updating this post as I advance in the process.
