Thanks! I think I will go with the free month as a Prize, until I put the Quimera or Gryphon ready. And depending on the results we can go with the commission. I mean in my head looks awesome you paint a mini to gain one miniature that you wish that you will paint (or join the pile of shame)

I think you are a great Patreon, you provide an awesome value for the price and you make a huge effort to do stuff patrons are asking for. Give yourself some props. For the painting contest, a commission sculpt sounds like an awesome prize but that’s also a huge value and you shouldn’t feel pressured to do it. That’s quite a few hours of your time and at least a $2-300 value for a commission. If you go forward with it that is super generous, but don’t feel pressure to do that much extra work for free if it is adding too much to the workload.

Well, we could go with that. I was just afraid that it might not be good enough for people to participate. I will check to see how to make that free month, it might be a small prize and it's a great way to put a competition.

My thoughts are you dont need to give a prize to have a competition! People just like competing even if there are no prizes - you would likely get more people participating if you had big prizes, but Artisan Guild is a huge Patreon and they just put the winner on their facebook banner and the winner gets a free month of their Patreon. So no need to go crazy with prizes, I think even a commission sculpt seems huge! I think a shout out on your Patreon/instagram to the winner will be more than enough to start things off, you can always build on it.

Come on, it's only one beer "said puked at the train station at 4am", is just a joke. Now i wait for contest. This month i get my human deathwing and from contest i get Janna with armor (this one look like Elza with armor) .I hope your wife will be fine, I keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks! MMF picture upload worked nicely for Fraser today, he uploaded lots of images, maybe it's picture size, i don't know, but would be nice to know why, your paints are awesome! Restaurant is out of question lol let's stick with the miniature. I'm ok, my wife going to start a treatment but she will be OK.

I feel like I could do more, strangely I have started so many of your models but I think I've only finished two? I am scatter brained. I definitely have Old Knight and Orc Warchief on my list. I do work better with a deadline, so if you give me a month's notice I would definitely paint something to the best of my ability for the chance to inspire a sculpt. TwinGoddess does this bi-monthly and they usually get a lot of entrants for their size.

Since I discovered multi purpose sticky thing, claylike, don't know it's name. Many of my minis are not glued, waiting for paint. 😂

I'm definitely on board for sharing as much as possible, and hopefully anyone else is up for it too! We all benefit from Imagine Minis gaining more exposure and it takes seconds to post something on instagram, discord, MMF etc.

I was thinking of also going back to painting, I started this journey because of this... now I have a bigger and bigger pile of shame.

A painting event sounds cool. I haven't really painted any minis since I got my printer but I used to when I played some wargames years ago. I think the hardest part for me would be to pick a model of yours that might be easy to ease back into painting with. Maybe the Orc warlord or Fariel Forestthorn
