Hello everyone!
Update June 17th
First of all, sorry for the lack of updates. I had some problems in these couple of days that kept me from working as much as I was planning, the time I had I chose to produce and stopped sharing the progress.
This is the last WIP (and the last image with colours). While posing Death as I raised her right-hand something came to my mind "To be, or not to be? That is the question", So I went for it lol.
Now I will sculpt the base and start joining pieces to create the final models. I expect to send them to the printer later today, and, hopefully, I will release them tomorrow.
The Idea for the base is something like a few tombstones and lots of skeleton hands coming out of the ground.
Update June 14th
I have finished 90% of the horse's bone structure (I still miss some spine bones), and today I will be working on the Saddle and clothes.
I will add some hair leftovers in the neck to reinforce a bit the structure. I don't know if I do the Ribs like that or if I remove all insides making it hollow.
For pose I will make a small trotting.
--- End of update ---
Today I have gathered information to start detailing the Death Pale Horse. Even though it would be cool to make a game model that's not what I wish for him (my3dprintforge has a really cool one). The Horse I am looking to sculpt is more like the second picture on the left, I want to show some bones!
The thing is, making a horse full of bones might not be that attractive, so I will add a few armor pieces or clothes to make it a bit more interesting. Having only bones might also bring a problem with the structure that it needs to support both miniatures (his own body and rider against external forces). To fix this the bones should be a bit thicker than Real life, another thing that I will add are some tissues leftover, this will ensure that the miniature won't break that easily.
For the rider pose, I chose the Victorian dress riding pose. I don't see too many female miniatures riding like that, this will solve my problem with the dress pose.
I will keep this post updated as a move in the sculpting process. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know.
This is the last sculpting for the Four Horsemen.
Best regards,
Ivo
