Four Horsemen - Death (WIP)

Update June 10th

Finished the chest, gloves, and hood. I decided to remove that pointy part it was kind of awkward, I also made that skull mask so that she could look a bit more evil. Now I will move to the Hips and then the shoulders before posing.

Possibilities of variations: Hood, Hood+Mask, Unhooded, and Armorkini (No skirt), to be honest, I think I will cut down the Armorkini version because having too many files might take a lot of space and time to support (that I intend to spend on the Dragon Spawn).

Update June 9th

I have started detailing the boots, I kind of liked how the Dress and boots stick together.  I will now start sculpting the chest, and move to the arms. For the shoulders I have increased a bit it's size, I am thinking of removing the bones.

Update June 8th

I have progressed a lot in the block-out phase, but I am still trying to pull out some shapes and I still have to create the leg armor. Looking at the picture now it looks a lot like a dark priest and that's close to what I am looking for but not quite there yet.

I have tried to add some spine and ribs to the shoulders and I think it looks different but maybe I should try the classic skull. I also added some cloth hanging, in the front and the back.

I haven't given up on the idea of making both arms different, I'm still thinking about how to make the split for modular arms, an Idea came to my mind just now (I will leave the arm with a long sleeve and add a small bracer at the tip, making it possible to leave the hole for the hand.

For the skirt, I decided to make an open skirt, this way I can show some boots (and it will not be a wasted effort lol). On the tip of the skirt, I will add some metal (the piece floating between the front and side view).

For the hands, I will try to add some pointy fingers and some bone structure. I will work on the hands as the last thing after detailing the whole body.

Te Schyte is not final but can show, sort of, what I am thing of doing.

Today I have started to collect images to help me in the sculpting process of Death.

For now, ignore the horse. In many references to Death, it's always a hooded person (or skeleton in many cases). So I will go with the hood but I will also create a variation of Death without the hood. I will try to keep the shapes of Malthael (Pointy straight hood), and a round style shoulder with some pointy things.

To stay within the general feeling of death she will be using a long dress making it almost like part of the robes. I might be shooting my foot here because it will be hard to pose the skirt to ride a horse, let's see how it goes. I just think it will look cool. I am also thinking about the possibility of making a pin-up or armorkini version, but will only do it if it's easy to finish.

For the chest armor, I was thinking of using a leather/Metal armor covered in bones to create a sort of rib cage. Even though the legs won't show that much I was thinking of adding metal greaves with a skull on the knees.

For the arms when searching for death I found this picture of Dantes inferno, an old game but kind of cool (gameplay like God of war), the funny thing about this game is that in the few minutes of the game you kill Death lol. Because of this nostalgia, I will try to keep both arms different.

For the Scythe I am still in doubt about the style, probably will go with a 2 side blade (One long and the other short, making some sort of "T"), I am also very tempted to make a dual wield scythe (small like the Kama).

For Pose I have separated 2 images that look interesting, the one standing will be the one without the horse, while the other pose I think would look cool on the Horse.

I will now start blocking the shapes and will keep this post updated as I move on in the sculpting process. If you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments.
