Defenders Of The Glade - Ayana Lightbranch (WIP)

Hello everyone!

Update March 20th

Sorry, no new picture lol (I don't want to spoil the finished model). I finished both models and weapons yesterday and today I am working on supports to test print both today, tomorrow I will have pictures of the finished miniatures. I will probably release both tomorrow (fingers crossed).

Update March 18th

Detailed a bit more Lyana and posed her. I will work today on her hair and skirt. I have added a helmet from Sentinel with a few modifications, I think it fits the character so I will add that as a variation.

To support her foot I chose a stone but I will try to add a wood log instead.

Update March 17th

With Ayana almost ready (maybe 95%) I started to work on her sister Lyana Lightbranch.

Decided to add a bit more protection to her legs and also added details to the corset. Also added a variation of a previously released helmet (or circlet).

On her printable version, I will make one with a helmet and one without a helmet. She will have a Javelin/Short spear, shield, and bow as options.

Update March 16th

Almost done, just need to finish the hair and fix the legs. After that, I will be able to sculpt hand options. But before making hands, I will make her sister. Probably I will be able to print both this weekend.

Update March 15th

I wanted to make a more neutral pose for her with both hands together, but it looked too simple and I decide to make her as if she was praying or casting a spell. This pose could work with staff on either of the hands.

I just posed her, now I will fix those skirts, one will be long and the other will be shorter. 

For the other model, I will be making a different pose with different hair and weapon options, so I won't be able to call her by the same name, so I decided to make Ayana Lightbranch twin sister, Lyana Lightbranch. She likes to take a more physical approach but she is also a priest of the moon. 

Update March 12th

Made a blockout for the armors that she will be wearing or that I intend to make, the top one is the direct inspiration on the aspiring aspirant but with some changes, the skirt, well... I made a long version and while experimenting with the shapes I also created a shorter version (I think it's kind of cute, probably will make both options available). For her weapon, I will add staff and a rod (Simply a shorter version of the staff) with a moon on the tip.

In the second version, I took inspiration from the Athena image with a few changes mixtures, I won't lie, I also liked this one (She will look cool with a spear and shield and also with a bow). The hair that was messy somewhat became an elaborate wavy hair.

I will split this miniature in two.

The Ballista is ready for 3d printing, I haven't test printed it yet because there is heavy rain here, I will probably test print later today.

While I wait, decided to start the next release, Ayana Lightbranch. For now, I have assembled a sheet of some arts that will give me inspiration for her.

What started my idea for this set was the Aspiring Aspirant, and this brought me to Athena, then Sophitia, and finally back to Tyrande.

What I am currently tempted to do: A long dress (or robe), Greek sandals, Belly armor plate (Sry don't know the name, but similar to a corset from Athena or the large belt from Sophitia), for the arms light metal bracers and leather belts. For the hair something messy. As for weapons my initial plans were to make her not modular but right now I don't think this will be possible, I want so many things for instance that Shield and spear look cool, Tyrande bow pose is also amazing, and there is also priest items that could be really cool.

I also like the idea of a shorter dress. I probably will split this into 2 different miniatures, each with its own identity.
