Defenders Of The Glade - Male Wild Druids (WIP)

Hello everyone!

Update February 21th

With the pose defined, I started to sculpt the head. To keep that look of our wild yellow superhero-clawed friend I picked a bit of his hairstyle.

I was considering giving him some scars to make him wilder but decided not.

Now I will join everything to finish the model.

Update February 20th

Started posing Branthir Dewmane. I was going for a wolverine pose but then someone asked for a Dynamic pose, and I think that he would look cool running. I think this pose is kind of cool because it works well with a shield on the front or maybe a restoration spell as if he was rushing to aid (Or finish) someone.

Ignore the head is only there as a placeholder.

Update February 18th

I finished Dediss Dewmane sharing some pictures of the finished model before I join everything in a single model.

I will now create the files and add supports. I will test print him and Tenon Fairbreeze late at night today, I won't wait for the last Druid to make this because this way I can release both of them while I test print the last Druid.

Update February 17th

Finished the weapons, organized the files, and supported Tenon (just need to test print).

Started Dediss Dewmane - Added a few modifications to the previous shinguards. I started to block a few shapes for hair and beard. I am happy with his beard shape (short and with a mustache) but the hair...guess is too trimmed for a wild and savage Elf, guess I will make it longer, how about some mullets?  

Update February 16th

Tenon FairBreeze - Finished the sculpture, now I will work on the hands and weapons and make them in the appropriate size for males.

Update February 15th

Tenon FairBreeze - Posed and defined a bit of cloth/armor pieces. The hair is still on the early block out stage. I will start adding volume to the pants and add details to the rest of the body pieces.

I chose this pose to put a 2handed staff on Him but, I am sure this works well with 1handed weapons too.

Update February 14th

Today I have created a sketch of what I will create for those 3 Wild Druids.

Branthir Dewmane - For the first one (left to right), I used Felenor's body as base. I wanted to make him a shirtless druid but as I was blocking out the shapes I realized that the shoulders had to be strapped somewhere so I got inspiration on He-Man and gave him a cross leather belt with a symbol in the middle (spoiler alert: it will be a moon lol), I will probably remove those bandages on his belly. His legs are exposed but I wanted to add a bit of interest to it, so I added 2 leather belts on his tights and some leather straps hanging by the side (I will probably change into something else maybe some fur). He looks a lot like a gladiator, in the forest every day is a battle.

Tenon FairBreeze - The second one I made a large build for him. He will be wearing leather pants, a shirt, and a tabard. I took inspiration from the picture but I want to make him different (not 1-1), he is the only one with a hair and beard sketch.

Dediss Dewmane - The third one I kept the large build, Added some straps to hold shoulder armor in place (On the right side there will be the Bear paw shoulder and on the left, there will be a fur cape. His legs are exposed and he has a leather tasset around him. I have not taken inspiration for him I simply went placing objects until I found something I liked.

Since I finished the Female Druids and sent it to you guys, created all the promotions and etc. I will now start making the Male Druids. I made most of the armor pieces with the females and I will try to reuse them but, I don't want to reuse everything I will try to create something new (not too time-consuming because if I create 3 new models It will take more time than I can invest, because of the schedule I proposed).

Starting with the body shape, I will make 2 bulky Elf and 1 thinner Elf (using Felenor Body as the base). 2 of them will have beards. 2 will be using a Tabard and one will have the top part mostly uncovered. Legs will be mostly uncovered similar to their female counterparts.

I will keep this post updated as I move along in the sculpting process
