Monthly Report - January

Hello everyone!

Another month has passed, and I have concluded the Defenders Of The Glade - Part 1. This month I discovered how the lack of attention during printing can be dangerous, and took a bath of resin. Always check if the bottle is really closed before shaking, let my mistake be a warning, and stay safe.

Miniatures released this month:

Elven Queen will become a 3-month loyalty reward and Elven Queen Balcony will become a 6-month Loyalty reward.

This month I also announced the next theme, Defenders Of The Glade - Part2, and started the poll for the next theme after Defenders Of The Glade - Part2. If you haven't voted yet, here is the link.

What's coming in February:

I don't know if there will be time for the Balista operator but, I will try. He was not planned but realized that ballistas don't fire alone, so I will make some sort of diorama with him, 2 poses to operate the ballista, glue or not to glue that will be the question...

Also, I will be calling Patron Commission by name after this, not a random name.

My favorite miniature

Even thought I love Alexstrasza and was really cool to be able to sculpt her, my favorite was Felenor Wildleaf. I have pictured him a bit differently in my mind but as I moved along with the sculpt he took a different shape I was really happy with how he was. The printed version of Him was so much better than render.

Final considerations

My tribes will be opening tomorrow and January releases will be available as of February releases on Tribes. Working as an Early Access on Patreon and Full release on Tribes.

That's it for this month's report, hope you have liked this month's miniatures. As usual, you can leave any comments below, things to improve, things you didn't like, speak what you wish, no holding back.

Up until now, I have had an increase of 8 Patrons compared to last month, to a total of 80 Patrons. Thank you all for being here supporting me and making this possible. January was also the first month that I was celebrating making one sale of a Sci-fi miniature I made and started to think it was possible.

Those that are leaving this month, farewell and I hope to see you soon.

Best regards,

Ivo

Thanks!

Awesome work this Month Ivo, quite the range of miniatures. The Mounted Sentinel has to be my favorite. The leaping pose is just so cool. Looking forward to next month!

To me selling Patron commission models would be a good thing, because miniature price x subscription price is really close, so If I could sell one of those per month it would probably be closer to have a new subscriber. But when I started Patron Commission I had a rule to not make famous characters so that I could sell them but, now I am doing those but to me It seems that I can't really sell those because of Copyrights, another problem I had was that few users complained to me that I would sell their character. So to have fewer problems I decided that I would not sell those models but, they are on MMF.

Thanks Rich! I always make miniatures that inspire me, my biggest problem is that I want everything (Fantasy to Sci-fi), but of course, I have my favorites, and you guys help me a lot deciding what theme I would work on.

Recent supporter here, I really like the stuff you are making. It really beings me back to my childhood as world of Warcraft played a big part in it. Polling the supporters for what the future sculpts will be is a good idea as it gives you a good gauge what people want. Just make sure that you make stuff that inspires you as well. Please reconsider selling some of these loyalty models you worked on. I think it’s great you are rewarding people for staying with you for an extended period of time, but it would be nice to be able to buy some of them as well. Rewarding reoccurring supporters and selling a model doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive. (I really want to use the judgement paladin for a mini in a dnd campaign I am doing) Keep the great work and stay healthy!

I think we might have enough different NE units for a skirmish warband at this point! Congratulations on your sci-fi sale too
