Patron Commission January - Grommash Hellscream (WIP)

Hello everyone!

Update February 4th

I completely forgot to upload a render yesterday but good news! I have finished him yesterday and printed it during nighttime. I have cleaned and taken some pictures.

Now I will make the renders to upload on MMF. I will upload him on GDrive in case anyone wishes to print him ASAP.

Update February 2nd

Sculpted the Axe, now I will add battle damage to it, sculpt the hand and start posing.

The way things are going I expect to put him on the printer tomorrow morning.

Things are a bit different today because the file got corrupted while saving, and I had to roll back in order to save the model (I got to recover the model on the first save of yesterday, by one save I did not lose everything). I lost what I did yesterday and spent the rest of the day redoing what I did.

If you are planning to start sculpting be sure to make backup files often, crashes happen.

Update February 1st

Added details to the gloves, shoulder, and Belt. I still need to add a bit more detail to the belt before calling it done. Decided to reduce the size of the Shoulder and Gauntlets (Compared to the previous WIP), they were too big after adding those borders.

I was planning on Posing before making the Weapon and Banner but, I guess having a weapon in his case and a proper flag might help me pose him better. 

Update January 30th

Added details to the boots and gloves. I will finish the boots and gloves before moving to the shoulders and Belt (please forgive my skull block out, it is only temporary).

Added a few more basic shapes to the block. I will add a few more shapes and will start adding details.

I will add details to the boots, gloves, belt, and shoulder, then I will pose and refine shapes for pants/Loincloth, belts, head, and hair.

Today I have started blocking out the shapes of the January Patron Commission model Grommash Hellscream.

In the early stage is possible to see the height difference to a standard male human (32mm). The requester asked for a slender and taller Orc, so this model is a bit taller and thinner than the previous orc (November Patron commission Storm x Judgment). 

The requester also asked for a loincloth instead of pants, but, I will do both versions. The hand will be compatible with Storm Shaman.

I will keep updating this post as I move along with the sculpt.
