Hello everyone!
Today is the last day of September, this month was really fast. Instead of the render, I think it was cooler to take a picture of the printed models during the month but my "booth" is small so it turned out a mess... like a battlefield full of dead bodies, no worries, nothing that a resurrection magic (Superglue) won't fix.
This month I released:
- Modular Draenei Set 1
- Patron Commission August - Finn Thunder hoof
- Modular Male Draenei - Extra torso and Head options (Plus back items)
- Bonus: Laughing Skull mask for modular Draenei and Kitbashes
- Yari - The Demon Hunter
Early access content (not released yet)
- Modular Male Draenei - Shoulder pack
- Modular Male Draenei - Arm pack
Reading last month I realized that I haven't released the 50.4mm bases but, I think that there is not much of a problem there because it will be free for download and it's already available in Early Access (Google drive)
From my initial plans, there was a delay over the Modular Male Draenei Weapons and Legs. This happened due to my lack of experience, I added a scope bigger than I could tackle. Modeling each part is not the problem. Posing, making sure everything fits nicely, and managing the files took longer than expected.
Because of the delay, there will be a delay on theme change, occurring during the mid of the month. What is about to come in October:
- Patron Commission September - The Vancleef's (I know it's a bad name, and I will probably change to something less Copyright)
- Modular Male Draenei Weapons pack
- Modular Male Draenei Leg pack
- Saber cat (mount, wild, and druid forms), I will add 2 or 3 poses
- Elven Archer
According to the poll that I did about the Themes, the most voted were these:
A) Keep doing unique models (not interested in quantity)
B) Only interested in tabletop scale
C) Themes should end when you are done what you have planned, regardless of the time.
A and B were easy to see the difference, so I will keep doing Tabletop and unique models, but I realized that there is room for a little bit of less unique models where they fit the context. For example, doing an Elven archer is not something I could print just one. From now on I will add a Hero or Soldier, to represent more poses, that does not mean you can't use soldiers to be your heroes. You can always request more poses and options on Patron Commission.
C there were divided opinions, so I think I can make a mix of both and try to attend to both sides. To reduce the amount of theme size I will reduce the amount of planned stuff to the Theme so that it takes 1 or 2 months tops, and will move on to the next Theme when done with the old one. Adding more models to the theme will be possible during the Next Theme Poll.
About the miniatures sculpted this month my favorite I hard to decide but, really enjoyed sculpting Finn Thunderhoof and how he turned out (He's been on my desk the whole month). What's yours?
That's it for this month, hope you have liked this month. As usual, you can leave any comments below, things to improve, things you didn't like, speak what you wish.
I thank you all for making this possible and to be here supporting me.
Those that are leaving this month, farewell and I hope to see you soon.
Best regards,
Ivo
