Summer Body
Added 2023-09-18 23:48:15 +0000 UTCMen seem to care so much about getting a summer bod, at least, until it's Summer. It's all they seem to worry about during the winter. They constantly make sure to get into the gym, lose their body fat, get toned and ripped. They have nothing else to do but look in the mirror to watch themselves as they get jacked, loving the amount of muscle their body can carry as they stuff themselves with protein.
As soon as the sun comes out their shirts disappear, and along with it all their careful workout habits. Their appetite stays, but instead of filling up with protein, they turn to dairy, fatty frozen treats to keep themselves cool in the heat. They go into vacation mode, spending all day sitting and relaxing, barely moving sweltering in the sun, filling their guts with beer and soda. Just like the cans they're constantly raising, so does their weight.
After having starved their body, the pounds pack on double. Their bodies swell like whale carcasses left to bloat, their soft skin taut over new fat. Their jaws disappear as their growing cheeks fall down their neck, nothing separating their stubby head from their growing bulge of a body. Ironically enough, they'd been keeping their body shaved in an attempt to highlight their definition. Now it only serves to leave their curves naked as their bodies grow rounder and pudgier, exposing their true gluttonous selves to the world.
Their bodies are barely recognizable, their round forms sitting plush in padded chairs. They'll always have a drink within immediate reach, a quick way to cool down the seat warmer they've turned their body into. Their shorts look skimpy on their bodies, stretched out from their growing thighs and waist. It's the only thing that has managed to keep up with their bodies. They no longer attempt to put any other clothes on, left with nothing else to wallow in but their own girth.
