Matching Chain

It started with the silver chain around his neck, something you noticed in all new pictures he appeared in. His voice and tone toward you on the phone seemed a lot softer and less gruff, more sympathetic and caring. It felt weird.
His mannerisms weren't the only thing you noticed changing. He was quickly losing weight, apparently spending time in the gym to bulk up. You thought it must have been good for him at this age, especially given how quickly his hair had turned white. Even stranger was how he allowed his beard to grow out after being so adamantly opposed to facial hair, something that made him seem so regal.
He invited you over for a visit, something you couldn't say no to, worried about his change. You went as soon as you could, headed back to your old home. He wasn't wearing anything when you arrived, bringing you in with a "Hey boy" that he'd never called you before. You had barely been inside for a second before he pushed you against the wall, planting his lips on yours.
You had been too shocked to do anything, his grip stronger than you expected as his hands reached up your neck. Your mind was racing until you heard him clip something behind your head, silencing all your thoughts immediatelly. As his tongue entered your mouth you felt something strange, a belonging you had never quite felt before with him. You let it happen, wrapped up in the moment before he draw back, your eyes locked to each other.
"The chain looks good on you boy" He said, making you look down.
A chain similar to the one he had on adorned your neck. Thoughts of worry and concern that should have come to your head were missing, your system overwhelmed with feelings of absolute devotion instead.
"You're gonna get to know me well" Your dad said, beginning to draw off your clothes with his hands reaching under your clothes, his touch soft on your skin.
